About This Event / イベントについて
OSAKA Hikari no Renaissance is one of the two core programs of Osaka Hikari no Kyoen (光の饗宴), lighting up Nakanoshima for a concentrated 15-day run in December. The historic Central Public Hall (中央公会堂) facade is illuminated, the riverside promenade glows, and special illumination cruises depart from Rose Port.
The illumination cruises (¥1,500+) sell out fast — book early. Best viewed from the riverside between the Central Public Hall and Rose Port, a short subway ride from Umeda. The event pairs perfectly with a daytime visit to the rose garden or cherry blossoms, depending on the season.
