About This Event / イベントについて
Nakanoshima Park, just three minutes by subway from Umeda, is Osaka's oldest public park and one of its finest hanami destinations. Some 300 cherry trees line the riverside promenade between the Museum of Oriental Ceramics and Osaka City Central Public Hall.
Unlike the party-heavy Sakura-no-Miyaya, Nakanoshima is refined: broad lawns, rose gardens, riverside benches, and evening illuminations of the blossoms. The view of pale-pink sakura against the red-brick Taisho-era Central Public Hall is one of Osaka's signature spring scenes.

梅田から御堂筋線で中之島駅まで3分。
Evening illuminations run until ~22:00 during peak bloom.
見頃時期は夜22時頃までライトアップ。
Pair with a walk to Osaka Castle Park for a second hanami spot.
大阪城公園を合わせて巡るのがおすすめ。
