About This Event / イベントについて
The Nakanoshima Park Rose Garden — a 6,000㎡ garden between the Dojima and Tosabori rivers — is Osaka's finest urban rose display. Some 310 varieties and 3,700 plants trace the history of roses from 1800s Old Roses to modern hybrids in a chronological patchwork layout along the riverside "Rose Path" (バラの小径).
Spring bloom peaks May 8–18, when the garden bursts into full color against the backdrop of the red-brick Central Public Hall. A second bloom comes in October, making this a twice-yearly floral destination. Entry is free, and the riverside path is best for photos.
