Osaka Station City's Autumn Fest is already open. It runs through Saturday 24 October 2026. The mistake is treating six weeks as one blob. Most of it is free paper and a photo corner on 5F Time Plaza. Two paid rooms sit on top of that, and they sell out. The event page is the date list. This is which weekend is worth a special trip versus a transfer through JR Osaka.
Free paper, four plazas, while it lasts
JR West's 25 August release puts flyer sampling on 12, 19, 20, 21, 26 and 27 September, then 3, 4, 10, 11, 12, 17 and 18 October, 11:00 to 17:00, until the stacks die. Stands sit at 1F Tabidachi Plaza, beside North Gate 3F information, 5F Time Plaza, and 11F Wind Plaza. The sheets mix stage times with LUCUA Osaka and Daimaru Umeda autumn sales. They are not a wristband. Grab one if you are already in the station. Do not ride in from Namba only for a leaflet.
The 5F plaza also has an autumn photo set for the whole run. It is a backdrop, not a ticketed garden. School-band and "high school wind festival" slots are promised. October names were still "late September" on the do-ya page when the fest opened. Check media.osakastationcity.com the Thursday before you come.
17-19 September is the paid night on 11F
ONDO LAND RYUICHI SAKAMOTO turns 11F Wind Plaza into a shoes-off, cushion-on-the-floor room, 18:00 to 22:00, 17 to 19 September. Advance ¥3,000 with one drink. Age 23 and under ¥2,500 with one drink. Door ¥3,000, no drink, and only if advance is not sold out. There is a free zone at the edge. The bill is tied to the tribute album Micro Ambient Music: Marihiko Hara, opitope (Hakuyukai Date plus Chihei Hatakeyama), and AOKI takamasa, rotating live and DJ. A 4K restoration of the 1984 documentary Tokyo Melody Ryuichi Sakamoto screens. It is a sister booking to Ryuichi Sakamoto and Tin Drum | KAGAMI+ at Grand Green Osaka VS. If you only have one paid night in Umeda this month, this is the one that does not happen on 5F.
Silver Week on the plaza is free music, 20 and 21 September, about 12:30 to 19:00. Tosaka Megu, piano, 20 September 16:30-17:00. Manamaru, piano, 21 September 16:30-17:00. Tombori River jazz 4+1 both days at 13:00-13:30 and 14:30-15:00. Those sets can move. Osaka Classic's brass quartet already played 12 September at 16:00. You missed that if you are reading this after lunch on the 12th.
3 October is chairs. 11 October is a free fes
JR West presents 802 PSY TONE RADIO in Osaka Station on 3 October, 13:00 doors, 14:00 start, 5F Time Plaza, now a larger stage for the 15th anniversary. All reserved seats ¥4,000 tax in, one drink, no preschoolers. Pia, eplus, Lawson. Line-up listed in the Autumn Fest release: Kosuke Saito (UNISON SQUARE GARDEN / TenTwenty), Kagetsu Inoue (Laura day romance), Kenji Mihara (Frederic), Soichiro Yamauchi. General sale was due from 19 September. If that is the weekend you can travel, buy before you plan the rest of the plaza.
Hitokiwa Ongakusai 2026 is posted for Sunday 11 October, same 5F floor, a free, borderless music fes in its fifth year. That is the cheap October date if PSY TONE is sold. Hankyu Umeda's rooftop beer garden in the same district runs into 12 October, which is a different building and a different bill. Autumn Fest does not include a beer garden ticket.
JR Osaka Station, LUCUA, and Daimaru Umeda are indoor-connected. You can hear a 16:30 piano set and still make a 18:00 Hankyu depachika run without going outside. Wind Plaza on 11F is the one room that feels like a roof. Hours for Wind Plaza and the Sky Farm on 14F shifted in a 11 September station notice.
