Ueda Shoten is a standing-drink liquor shop on the first floor of the Osaka Ekimae 1 Building in Umeda. Founded in 1945, it is known as one of Osaka's oldest and largest kakuuchi standing-drink spots, with an atmosphere that feels like a trip back to the Showa era.

The counter offers a wide range of sake, shochu and beer by the glass alongside simple snacks, with a roomier area at the back for after-work crowds. It opens from 09:00 on weekdays and 09:00 on Saturdays, closed on Sundays and holidays.
