Hand Co., Ltd. is a software company that develops and sells the Mahojin (Magic Circle) series of tax-return preparation software, used by more than 30,000 certified public accountants, tax accountants and corporate accounting departments across Japan. Founded in October 1991 and headed by president Keiichi Morii, the firm has built a reputation for dependable desktop products covering corporation tax, income tax, inheritance tax, consumption tax and electronic filing, and has steadily grown its user base for over twenty years.

The company occupies the 9th floor of Herbis ENT Office Tower, a premium office building in the Umeda district, and employs around 36 staff. Since 2016 it has expanded into cloud services through the Mahojin member site, extending its long-standing packaged software business into online accounting tools. Hand holds a Privacy Mark certification, reflecting its commitment to personal data protection.
