Ueda College of Fashion, formally Ueda Yasuko Fukushoku Senmongakko, is a vocational school at 2-5-8 Shibata in Kita Ward, in the heart of Umeda. Founded in 1941, it is operated by Ueda Gakuen and has more than 70 years of history producing fashion and design professionals. The college teaches haute couture techniques inherited from Dior alongside courses spanning fashion goods, footwear, bag design and planning through to production, with some practical classes conducted in French. Its central Osaka location places students in one of western Japan's most fashionable districts. Visit an open campus to tour the studios and learn about enrolment.
