About This Event / イベントについて
KITTE Osaka is running a month of local Japanese bakery culture through 30 September 2026. Writer Minori Kai, who coined the trademarked label jimoto pan, picked 12 regional bakeries and 53 breads that rarely reach Osaka. Four Wednesday sales on the 2nd-floor south atrium, 11:00 to 17:00, are the days that matter if you want the visiting stalls.
The next stalls are 9 September, Retro Cute Jimoto Pan: Orion Bakery from Iwate, Kiramugi from Tochigi, and Maruju Yamanashi. 16 September is West Japan: Tommy's from Hyogo, Tongu from Okayama, Okumura Bakery from Nara. 30 September is Kai's own selection: Nishikawa Foods from Hyogo, Bon. Senga from Aichi, Pan Azumaya from Ishikawa. Bread and goods sell out. Stock bought on a sale day can be eaten the same day at 2F @JP Cafe.
Between sale days the 2F antenna shops keep a pan map of Hokkaido-to-Okinawa breads and jams. Kai appeared as one-day manager on 2 September. JR Osaka Station west exit is indoor-connected.

9 September is the next retro-packaging day if you missed the 2 September opening.
2日を逃したら次は9日のレトロ回。
