Tenjinbashisuji is the long arcade east of Umeda, not a tourist replica street. The 1–3 chome association at tenjin3.com calls the whole run about 2.6 km, north–south from Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome Station down toward Osaka Tenmangu. Croquette shops, groceries, cheap clothes, chain drugstores, old kissaten. People who live in Tenma actually buy dinner here. Shop hours are each tenant’s. Many run roughly 10:00–19:00. The roof means rain is irrelevant. Tenjin Festival on 24–25 July uses the street. That is an event on a street, not a new place type. Ogimachi and Kids Plaza sit near the middle-north. The shrine is the south turn. Walk it as a street. Do not file it under malls.
