Ogimachi Park

Ogimachi Park is the Saturday park Kita families actually use, not a postcard lawn by Osaka Station. It sits at Ogimachi 1-1, Metro Ogimachi one minute, JR Temma about five. Mountain slides, a fountain with evening colour, a summer pool, lawn. Kansai TV’s blue cube is the neighbour. Kids Plaza Osaka is the next building. The park itself is always open. No closed day. Park centre 06-4709-0010, weekdays 09:00–17:30. Paid car parks on site; heights and rates on ogimachipark.com/access. Weekend calendars fill the lawn: markets, Rainbow Festa, the Kita-ku Civic Carnival in mid-October. This is a park. Do not type it as a mall because a TV station and a children’s museum sit next door.
